Owner of Italy Hotline, Sienna Reid is a figurative painter from Seattle where she graduated with a Fine Arts degree from the University of Washington. Her work has been widely exhibited in the United States and Italy and is found in collections in Germany, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Mexico, Italy and the United States. Passionate about painting and its millennial history, she draws inspiration from Ancient Greco-Roman and European Renaissance art and architecture. She has lived with her husband and son in Rome since 1999 in a lovely apartment 100 yards from the Forum.

Sienna also gives culinary tours, based on a long professional experience of cooking and catering. At the tender age of 13 she was already prep-cooking in a French-Italian restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. She went on to cook and cater professionally for many years. In Rome she combines a broad knowledge of Italian culinary techniques with a passion for fresh ingredients and local markets.

With degrees in both fine arts and humanities Sarah May Grunwald is uniquely positioned to communicate both the visual and historical splendour of Rome. Hailing from California she is a passionate wine enthusiast and graduate of the Corso di Qualificazione Professionale per Sommelier and is currently completing the rigorous Master di analisi sensoriale del vino, Italy's highest sommelier qualification. For the arts she leans towards classical Roman mosaic and portraiture, paintings by Caravaggio, Botticelli, and late 20th century Italian fashion photography. She describes herself as currently obsessed with Giotto, especially his frescoes of the life of St. Francesco (in the Santa Croce of Florence). When not touring the nocturnal wine bars of Rome she retreats to the quiet country life of the Castelli Romani to care for her troupe of adopted, abandoned animals. Sarah May Grunwald
