Obelisks and the works of Bernini lead the way as we explore the cobblestone streets searching for clues to the mystery of the Eternal City.Sites visited include: Santa Maria del Popolo, Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, the Palace of the Propaganda of the Faith, The Palace of the Knights of Malta, Piazza Barberini, Triton Fountain, Santa Maria Della Vittoria w/Bernini's St. Teresa, the House of Bernini, Bernini’s Angels, the Trevi Fountain, the Jesuit Church of St Ignatius (seat of the Roman Inquisition), Piazza Colonna, the Elephant Obelisk, Santa Maria over Minerva (where Galileo was tried), Hadrian’s Temple, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Stadium of Domitian, Castel Sant Angelo, il Pasetto and St. Peter's Piazza and Basilica.
