This 8 hour tour provides you with an exciting overview of the most intriguing Renaissance and Baroque sites of Rome, while along the way exploring the key sites from Dan Brown’s novel Angels and Demons. Obelisks and the works of Bernini lead the way as we explore the cobblestone streets searching for clues to the mystery of the Eternal City.

Sites visited include: Santa Maria del Popolo, Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, the Palace of the Propaganda of the Faith, The Palace of the Knights of Malta, Piazza Barberini, Triton Fountain, Santa Maria Della Vittoria w/Bernini's St. Teresa, the House of Bernini, Bernini’s Angels, the Trevi Fountain, the Jesuit Church of St Ignatius (seat of the Roman Inquisition), Piazza Colonna, the Elephant Obelisk, Santa Maria over Minerva (where Galileo was tried), Hadrian’s Temple, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Stadium of Domitian, Castel Sant Angelo, il Pasetto and St. Peter's Piazza and Basilica.

To give your feet a rest we will stop for a delicious Italian meal in a restaurant selected by our staff for its authentic Roman cuisine.

Angels & Demons Book Tour

This 5 hour tour focuses on the main sites found in Dan Brown's novel Angels and Demons . Your private guide will take you on a cross-city hunt to seek out the locations of peak moments in the story including the Four Altars of Science and the Illuminati Lair, bringing each location to life with vivid descriptions from the novel, explanations of fact and fiction, and interesting tales from history as we explore the depths of Rome's world of secret symbolism.
